Chris has 15 years’ experience in Recruitment and Human Resources. After 10 years in the UK managing both civilian and military personnel Chris moved to Australia where he has spent the last 6 years in both agency and internal recruitment.
Chris is also a member of the Recruiting and Consulting Services Association.
As a mad keen Celtic and Premier League fan we suspect Chris survives on 2 hours sleep per night at the weekend. He’s keen to participate in all sports, as long as they are televised and viewable from his man cave.
His love of chocolate and all things sugar does help win friends in the office, but not quite the adoration he hoped for as Managing Director.

Julie is one of the most recognised and respected recruiters in the region. She has extensive recruitment experience across all industries having worked for over 8 years as a Senior Consultant within the Hunter region.
As a director with GWG Partners, Julie continues to work extensively with clients throughout the Newcastle, Hunter and Sydney regions. She has experience recruiting across multiple role types up to and including ‘C’ Level.
In the office Julie is passionate about being right. Even when she isn’t……. she is!
Julie can solve any medical issue. As the resident medic the solution for every ailment is olive leaf extract. We all love Julie because most importantly – she said we have to!

James has over 20 years of diverse experience working across the recruitment, publishing, broadcast, non-profit, manufacturing, telecommunications and music industry sectors.
James is also a former Chief Information Officer having held senior management roles for PBL Media, The Nine Network Australia, ACP Magazines, ARIA and Time Warner.
James is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds post graduate qualifications in Business and Technology from the University of NSW, Australian Business School.
James is a keen mountain biker, trekker, surfer and all things outdoors. He can't help but organise everything in life using lists and spreadsheets. We also think his life savings were probably spent on ultralight and overly expensive sporting equipment.
Alissa has over 10 years recruitment experience specialising in Human Resources, Technical, Engineering and Executive across Corporate, Manufacturing, Finance and Government sectors.
Alissa holds qualifications in HR, Training, Coaching and Assessment Centres.
There’s some debate in the office that Alissa, not our Managing Director, runs the GWG ship. We suspect it’s actually Alissa, if not now, one day it will be. As a keen technology enthusiast Alissa loves to break everything computer related just to see if we can fix it again.
Both highly experienced and well regarded, Mitch has been working for over seven years in the Newcastle region in both internal and agency roles.
Mitch has a solid track record in the technical, engineering, property and construction sectors and will service an extensive portfolio of clients. As a Novocastrian with an extensive knowledge of the market, he understands the importance of strong relationships and honesty.
A competitive soccer player and keen surfer Mitch loves the Newcastle lifestyle. Some people say if Mitch were any more laid back he would be asleep.
